Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2022 (Part 1)
Shortlisted entries are announced for the international Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.
There are various categories which include Ceilings, Pop Ups, Alfresco & Biophilic Design, and even Murals & Graffiti; these annual design awards are arguably the most diverse to be found in the calendar year.
Entrants include graphic designers, architects, designers and owner operators from all over the world.
And like 2021 there are a large number submitted from China, including some of our favourites.
Fewer coming from the UK which is understandable as it hasn’t been the busiest year for new opening.
The Awards are globally recognised as a competition dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces and attract entrants from over 70 countries.
The 2022 judges include the CEOs of several international hotel groups, restaurateurs including our very own Tom Aitkens, editors of global/regional style magazines including Conde Nast Traveler and ELLE Décor, lighting designers and lifestyle media.
Over two posts (Part 1 and Part 2) we include some of our favourites, a small selection from nearly 400 entrants.
Impressive, aren’t they!
