A Welsh debut for the Coppa Club
The Coppa Club has all the credentials of a latter-day private members’ club but none of the exclusivity.
There are thirteen Coppa Club venues in the UK, including their most recently opened Cardiff Townhouse by Coppa Club and each provides warmth and sanctuary from the outside world.
The Cardiff Townhouse is Coppa Club’s inaugural Welsh location, and brings a vibrant atmosphere to the heart of the city.
Housed within the iconic David Morgan Department Store on The Hayes, this all-day social destination offers two distinct atmospheres across its two floors.
The ground floor, complete with its own bar and dog-friendly space, transforms from morning coffee hub to lively evening hotspot.
Upstairs, the Atrium Bar beckons with expertly crafted cocktails beneath a historic skylight, alongside the brasserie and private event spaces which include a snug and private dining room.
The menu blends British and Mediterranean flavours although it fails to include any of Wales’s more famous delicacies such as Bara brith or cawl.
Several Coppa Club venues (not including Cardiff) offer overnight accommodation and it’s worth checking the website to discover which ones do.
Locations to date include Tower Bridge and Putney in London, Streatley, Sonning, Haslemere, Brighton, Bristol, Cobham, Henley, Maidenhead, Guildford, Bath and Cardiff.
