Routescape, a tailor-made travel company based in Pembrokeshire, has announced the appointment of Rachel Coffey as its Chief Operating Officer.

Routescape was founded by Neil and Zoe Kedward and launched at the World Travel Market in London in November 2018.

Since then the business has weathered the Covid crisis and grown into a thriving travel company specialising in informed adventure and culinary travel across western Europe.

This is a new leadership role and comes following unprecedented growth in the business in 2023.

Rachel will be leading the travel team from the company’s Cornstore head office, located quayside overlooking the historic Pembroke castle.

Rachel started her travel industry career as a data analyst and market researcher firstly with IATA and then Virgin Atlantic.

She went on to build a hugely successful career during her 13 years with Virgin, latterly as Head of Business Change.

In more recent years, Rachel took on senior leadership roles at G Adventures and the Travel Corporation, before taking on a major change programme leadership role in the NHS.
