Dennis Sorensen, Resort Manager
Dennis Sorensen has been appointed Resort Manager of Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
Part of the Red Sea destination, Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, plays an important role in advancing Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by setting new benchmarks in sustainable luxury tourism and immersive wellness experiences.
As the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the Middle East, Nujuma has earned international recognition for its distinctive approach to wellbeing and privacy, including a place on Condé Nast Traveler’s Hot List, being named Best New Hotel by Forbes Travel Guide, and featuring on Travel + Leisure’s coveted It List 2025.
Bringing leadership that aligns with Nujuma’s elevated vision and international profile, Dennis Sorensen joins the reserve with a proven record of excellence in luxury hospitality.
Most recently, he served as Pre-Opening General Manager for Ilma, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, overseeing 224 suites, multiple dining venues, and a full suite of onboard luxury experiences.
Prior to that, he was General Manager of Evrima, the inaugural yacht in The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, where he led operations across 129 suites and a broad range of guest offerings.
Before joining The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Dennis held the role of Hotel Manager at The St. Regis Toronto.
There, he guided the team to achieve the coveted Forbes double Five Star Award for both the hotel and its spa, a notable accomplishment reflecting his commitment to excellence.
