Joan Rull Moreno, Director of F&B.
Conrad London St. James has announced the appointment of Joan Rull Moreno as Director of F&B.
He joins from Canopy by Hilton Madrid Castellana and has extensive leadership experience across a number of hotel companies in Spain and Belgium over the past 10 years.
This includes working as an F & B Director for six years and his expertise includes overseeing an independent one Michelin-starred restaurant and a three Michelin-starred restaurant within a hotel.
He won scholarships at Cornell University in Advanced Hotel Real Estate on Asset Management, deal structuring and capital markets.
He holds both a master’s degree in Hotel Administration and Management and in Food & Beverage Management.
Joan has taken on this role after significant investment in F & B at the hotel culminating in the opening of the Blue Boar Pub and multi-award-winning The Pem, the fine dining restaurant opened under top chef Sally Abé in 2021, along with the hotel’s revamped lounge and cocktail bar, The Hedgerow, and the afternoon tea offering in the Orchard Room.
Joan sees his first role bringing over 150 people in the F & B team to work together to give every hotel guest and visitor a unique and personalised visit offering a diverse British gastronomic experience that could only come from their stay at Conrad London St. James.
