Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo has announced the appointment of Guillaume Ranvier as General Manager, replacing Louis Starck, who has become General Manager of Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.
An accomplished figure in international luxury hospitality, Guillaume Ranvier joins Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo from the Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, where he held the position of Hotel Manager.
He now takes the helm of one of Monaco’s most iconic properties, as it enters a new phase of transformation and refinement.
A graduate at the top of his class from the École Supérieure de Cuisine Française in Paris, Guillaume Ranvier began his career with the Hyatt Hotels Group, where he spent over a decade in senior leadership roles in France and internationally.
He started at Park Hyatt Paris–Vendôme as Director of Food & Beverage before progressing to Director of Rooms and then Director of Operations.
During this period, he played a key role in the hotel’s full renovation and the continuous improvement of guest satisfaction.
He later moved to Doha to support the opening of a Park Hyatt in the Middle East as Director of Operations, before returning to France after the pandemic as Hotel Manager of the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, overseeing the property’s first post-Covid season and a major operational reorganisation.
Guillaume Ranvier was subsequently appointed General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée, where he led the renovation of the restaurant, repositioned the hotel’s offering, and delivered record revenues in 2022.
Since 2023, he has served as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, where he helped reinforce a culture of excellence centred on performance, team cohesion and exceptional guest experience.
