The Garden
The Montcalm Experience flows through every aspect of the hotel, with a central theme celebrating the Garden – a homage to the site’s ancient forest origins and Georgian garden design heritage.
Including floral motifs and nature-inspired elements, this narrative weaves through three distinct yet harmonious aspects including The Art of Play, which is inspired by Georgian garden design and celebrates the cycles of nature: a Conversation Piece, echoing Georgian-era paintings of intimate garden and domestic settings, and The Salon, which honours the intellectual exchanges of Georgian salons, such as Elizabeth Montagu’s Blue Stockings Society.

Lilli by Akira Back
Montcalm Mayfair’s signature restaurant, takes centre stage with dishes curated by world-renowned, Michelin-starred chef Akira Back, celebrating his diverse culinary repertoire; honouring his Korean heritage and dynamic creative flair, with an enticing menu that features modern interpretations of classic British dishes.
Set in an opulent yet inviting space, the restaurant offers a refined dining experience, designed to complement the hotel’s residential setting.
Interiors blend the historical charm of Georgian architecture and contemporary, handcrafted furnishings in organic materials, with a centrepiece chandelier designed to enhance the palette of warm greens and natural tones.
A striking illuminated, curved, fluted glass gantry provides a focal point at the heart of the restaurant, with bespoke chandeliers creating an evolving atmosphere, from morning light to evening ambiance.

Montcalm Mayfair bar
The space features a dramatic ceiling mural inspired by flora and hand-painted by Will Foster; a playful, ethereal garden dancing across the expansive ceiling.
A key feature of the bar menu is the innovative cocktail list, which takes guests on a journey through England’s’ Georgian gardens, with flavours that pay homage to English horticulture with an Asian influence.
From the sensitive botanical balance of the Rose Negroni, combining the elegance of Japanese Sakura and British rose essence, to the alcohol-free, refreshing Summer Solstice, a radiant blend of spice and citrus inspired by sun-drenched orchards and the warmth of the tropics.
The intimate and elegantly designed private dining room, Bloom, offers a serene retreat inspired by the vibrancy of a flourishing garden.
Reflecting themes of growth and natural beauty, Bloom provides a private setting for intimate gatherings, celebrations, and meetings of up to 14 guests.
The space blends organic textures with thoughtfully curated art and décor, including a striking centrepiece, ‘An Orange Tree,’ a vibrant gardenscape by UK-based artist Lilia Orlova-Holmes, rich with symbolic references; wealth, optimism, happiness, strength, and stability.
Above, a hand-painted ceiling mural by Camille Rousseau further enhances the ambiance with intricate botanical artistry.

About Montcalm Collection
United by timeless style and peerless service, Montcalm Collection is a compendium of luxury hotels in London.
Housed in elegant Georgian townhouses, an 18th-century brewery, heritage headquarters and a diamond-shaped skyscraper, each hotel reveals a different chapter in the city’s story.
The hotels in the collection include a storied city-slicker, housed in the former headquarters of the Royal London Mutual Insurance Society; a historic brewery, reimagined as a vibrant modern hotel; a property with a bold new perspective known as Montcalm East, Autograph Collection.
In addition there are two ‘mindful hotels’ which set a slower pace: Inhabit, on Southwick Street and Inhabit, at Queen’s Gardens, both part of Design Hotels.
Montcalm Collection also encompasses Montcalm Townhouse and Park Grand Hotels: boutique stays in coveted settings, and, of course, the above Georgian charmer with an artful modern spirit: Montcalm Mayfair, Autograph Collection.
