OXBO landing at Heathrow
Following its £3m refurbishment, Hilton London Heathrow Airport will launch three new dining outlets under the OXBO brand, namely OXBO Café, OXBO Kitchen and OXBO bar. All three outlets will offer a wide range of food and drink options throughout the day and night.
Inspired by nature and agricultural heritage with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and hearty, generous food, the dining spaces have been designed to take into account the unique position of the hotel and to recreate “the kind of view that guests are likely to see when they are coming in to land.”
The aim was to create dining spaces that were both reflective of the hotel’s locality, but also multi-functional for travellers, adapting to their needs at every time of day.
The design team also reflected OXBO’s “bound by nature” concept, by creating a natural environment inside the hotel, which features real trees.
These trees will provide a unique backdrop for this new dining experience and have been strategically planted in locations that will allow them to thrive and get the right amount of light and water.
All Guests will be provided with a special reminder of their visit – a plant-able seed card with their bill, to take home and grow.
The hotel has now re-opened for essential workers and business travellers, although the new OXBO experience dining outlets will not open fully until May 17th.
